The Coffee, Cupcakes and Contemporaries Group is made up of 14 authors. We became friends while writing for Harlequin and now continue to share our publishing journeys as we move into other areas of romance and contemporary fiction. We created this group to build a community of readers who enjoy contemporary romance, from sweet to spicy. I’m in the mood for a little Christmas. If you are too, you can grab a copy of my latest Fitzgerald House book. This time its a novella.
What’s it about?
Kelly Tucker’s problems started with her first high school crush. Aiden was the first in a string of guys who kissed her and then declared they were better off friends. Friends–might as well be the kiss of death.
In high school, Aiden Phillips lived with his cousins, and causing problems was not an option. If he didn’t keep the peace, he’d end up in boarding school. Back then his cousin wanted to date Kelly, so Aiden gave her up. But he’s never forgotten her.
Eleven years later, a wedding brings them together. They just might have a chance at a fresh start. If only Kelly can forgive him…

I had a fantastic time at this year’s Barbara Vey Reader Appreciation  Weekend. Getting to meet readers is always so much fun. And I got to see readers from last year’s weekend and the Jan cruise.
Since I had so much fun – I asked the Coffee, Cupcake and Contemporaries — Book Group if they had been to a Reader’s Event and what they liked about them. Swing over and let me know what you think!
